Mark

Mark is an experienced senior technical project manager originally working in the pharmaceutical sector and has since worked for 22 years as an executive coach and facilitator. He is also an author and podcaster on the topics of leadership and life skills. Mark has worked with a wide variety of corporates in Europe, Asia and the Middle East facilitating executive and leadership development programmes and career coaching. He is also a qualified business coach offering strategic, financial, product and market coaching to SMEs.

Mark’s approach reflects his technical project background, his focus is on pragmatism and practicality. He has a wealth of experience facilitating and coaching in the construction industry in the UK, Europe and Asia and was the key consultant working with the successful bid team for the largest outsourced bid in Europe. Mark challenges the status-quo and works with executives and leaders to support them to devise simple, practical solutions which are ready for immediate implementation. Mark’s psychological background enables him to blend human behavioural change with system and process changes to ensure that targeted business results are achieved.

Mark’s approach is to support leaders to re-frame perceived problems and generate agreed simple goals and solutions. He places great emphasis on tracking and measuring change, both in behaviour and systems. He supports and challenges his coachees to generate approaches which convert challenges from emotional and political pressures into pragmatic steps towards solution.

Mark is known for ‘seeing the wood from the trees’ and his honest, challenging, and supportive style make him an excellent sounding board and impactful coach. His passion is showing that what was thought impossible or extremely difficult, is straightforward to achieve when paired with underlying knowledge and a simple sequence of steps. His aim is to support leaders so they are fully equipped with strategies to move forward and solve challenges using a new range of tools and techniques.
